Ant Atkinson’s infectious smile, charming wit, and his world class ball handling and shooting skills have made him a fan favorite on the Harlem Globetrotters. He’s set multiple world records on the court and wowed the crowds in 80+ countries. He has shot hoops with President Obama and met Pope Francis when the Globetrotters named the pontiff the ninth Honorary Harlem Globetrotter in team history on May 6, 2015 – following the Pope’s weekly General Audience, before a crowd of over 50,000 in St. Peter’s Square.
However, Ant is much more than an athlete. He’s a coach, business man, entrepreneur, Christian, a family man, and a powerful and dynamic motivational speaker.
When he’s not on tour playing basketball with the Globetrotters, he’s sharing his message with audiences young and old.
He speaks on perseverance through trials, how his faith has helped his journey as a world-traveling athlete, and anti-bullying, among other much needed topics. Once you hear his story, you’ll understand why this powerful witness has moved people the way it has.
